Minecraft and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover in a new DLC
Get ready for a shell-tastic time saving New York as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this time inside Minecraft itself!
Minecraft has just announced a crossover with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, right on time for the release of the highly awaited TMNT: Mutant Mayhem in theaters around the United States. Except in this DLC, not only will you get new textures and blocks to transform your world into the Turtle’s New York City, but you’ll also get to save the day as them!
Fighting against some of their classic enemies like Shredder and Krang, in this DLC you’ll get to choose your favorite out of the four Turtle brothers (Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello) and take the fight to the villains in this new texture pack. Players will be able to explore New York City and the Turtles’ Lair from the classic 80s cartoon, and will be able to do so with the TMNT theme and many other songs. Additionally, there’ll be 20 TMNT character skins to customize your adventures.
The Mutant Mayhem is about to begin
The arrival of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is imminent. The new version of the popular franchise arrives to theaters around the United States on August 2, 2023, and if critics are to be believed it might just sweep all of the awards away from the other big summer releases. Seth Rogen’s film is set to become one of the biggest premieres in an already packed movie season.
The movie is getting non-stop praise from critics all over the country, even going as far as calling the new movie “the best of the franchise.” With huge names such as Jackie Chan, John Cena, and more behind the many voices of the animated film, this reboot of the Turtles Universe is set to become the flagship version of the turtles for an entirely new generation.
There’s even talks about a sequel already being greenlit, and with the magnitude of the Turtle’s popularity there’s no doubt that we’ll be having plenty of discussions about who the best Turtle is. (The answer is Donatello. What? He does machines!)
