Capcom has shared new footage of Monster Hunter Wilds, including some unbelievably realistic cooking animations and food models.
If something stands out from Japanese games, it is their obsession with conveying food in an extremely realistic way. We have plenty of examples, from the Final Fantasy saga to an endless list of JRPGs. Monster Hunter Wilds is the latest game to push the barrier between reality and fiction. Monster Hunter Wilds has true next-gen food
The RE Engine wants to continue giving reasons to be the leading graphics engine for Capcom for the remainder of this generation and beyond. During the presentation that the company held as part of Gamescom 2024, fans were able to learn specific details about the game. It seems like nonsense, but with each delivery, the appearance of the dishes with which we can feed our hunter has been improved.
Cooking is a fundamental element in the Monster Hunter saga. On the one hand, there are the usual meat steaks, which you must cook to perfection to achieve maximum stamina recharge. On the other hand, you can also prepare different kinds of meals, which are usually requested at the base and which add passive bonuses to the next hunt the player performs.
Capcom has not yet revealed the release date for Monster Hunter Wilds, although we do know that it will arrive at some point in 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
