Summer Game Fest

Monster Hunter Wilds leaves its monstrous footprint at Summer Game Fest

Capcom is looking to continue the winning streak, and after learning a lot from the success of Monster Hunter World, is betting on the largest world in the series’ history.

Update:
Monster Hunter Wilds

While we were surprised by several titles during the State of Play, Monster Hunter Wilds was one of the ones that caught our attention, along with Astro Bot and Concord. The new installment in Capcom’s already long-running franchise looks extremely ambitious, attempting to take hunters to a new open world. Luckily, we didn’t have to wait long to get a glimpse of this next installment, and the Summer Game Fest was the chosen stage to get a new look at it.

It was also announced that another look will be given at Gamescom in Germany later this summer, with a demo being present at the event.

The first details of Monster Hunter Wilds, which will be released in 2025, reveal that the player will be one of the members of the Forbidden Lands Investigation Commission. This is a group that will have to explore vast regions that will somehow change drastically due to multidimensional issues. We will have to wait to find out exactly how this system works.

Monster Hunter World Rewards for Wilds

If you are already a regular player of Monster Hunter World (including the Iceborne expansion), you should know that you can transfer your data to get juicy rewards for free. This is a collection of weapons and armor from the Felyne set, and nobody says no to free items.

Can’t wait for the release of Monster Hunter Wilds? In that case, remember that Monster Hunter World is one of the most popular games in the series and is available on almost all current platforms: PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam). In addition, the title often stars in promotions. Without going any further, right now you can get it for less than $10.
