My Hero Academia Finishes with a Surprise Wedding Announcement
A happy ending for two characters full of passion.
The end of ‘My Hero Academia’ has arrived in its manga version, and Kohei Horikoshi’s work has shown us the situation of many characters after the ending, and one of the most striking was the announcement of a wedding. Who are the happy ones? Many readers may have thought of Class 1-A characters, but nothing could be further from the truth.
The last chapter of “My Hero Academia” serves as an epilogue to tell us how many characters have moved on with their lives after the end of the series, and two of those who are seen are Gentle Criminal and La Brava, both of whom are married after the time jump presented to us. Thanks to the help they both offered the heroes, they were able to move on with their lives after being released from prison. Two adorable “villains” who got the ending that many of us wanted to see, and the passion they feel for each other is shown in a very subtle way, with a panel in which they both appear and, if we look closely, they have wedding rings.
The impact of ‘My Hero Academia’ for a decade
Over the course of a decade, My Hero Academia has filled the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump and enjoyed enormous success worldwide, both in its manga and in an anime adaptation that is now in its seventh season. More than a few authors have wanted to say goodbye to one of the popular Japanese publication’s most important works, with some figures such as Eiichiro Oda leaving very personal tributes.
