My Hero Academia shows off the most overpowered Quirk in the anime: Star and Stripe’s New Order
America’s greatest hero in the My Hero Academia universe makes her grand debut at the start of Season 7, and already her power is incredibly broken.
The first episode of the seventh season of ‘My Hero Academia’ introduced us to Star and Stripe, the biggest hero from the United States, and her enormous power. This a moment that viewers did not expect to see so soon, but the work of Kohei Horikoshi starts the season strong with Tomura Shigaraki facing this heroine, who has had to use New Order, her amazing Quirk and one of the most broken and powerful that has been seen in the series so far.
How does New Order work? Star and Stripe’s power has almost infinite possibilities, allowing the user to establish a rule in their environment by touching the target and speaking its name, manipulating and granting new properties to both themselves and the world around them. Cathleen herself can grant herself additional abilities, as well as being able to manipulate her opponent’s body. In addition, it has the ability to affect things like air, energy, and everything you can imagine. A gift to which she can impose rules that permanently remain, and that the United States government has tried to hide as much as possible so that the nature of it is not known. A power full of possibilities that we could consider the most ‘broken’ and overpowered of all in ‘My Hero Academia’.
Star and Stripe, the biggest new hero in ‘My Hero Academia’
The last chapter of the sixth season briefly teased Star and Stripe, the heroine upon which the seventh season of ‘My Hero Academia’ shines the spotlight first. The series expands its borders with a character who is the symbol of the United States, and who has an important connection with All Might, the symbol of peace.
What is the Connection between both characters? Star and Stripe decided to fight for the good of humanity thanks to the Japanese hero, as when she was just a girl, All Might saved her and her family from certain death while they were in the town of Santa Monica. It was at that moment when Cathleen Bate became clear about who her teacher and person to follow in life was.
