Neither Spider-Man: Brand New Day nor Avengers: Doomsday—these are the trailers that will be shown during Super Bowl LX
Disney won’t be there with Marvel, but it will be there with Star Wars: there will be a new trailer for The Mandalorian & Grogu.
One of the biggest moments in American sports is approaching: the Super Bowl, the NFL final between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots in San Francisco. But it’s also something that movie fans look forward to, as it’s an event chosen by some of the year’s biggest productions to show a first or new trailer. However, despite having two such important films in 2026 as ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ and ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ there is no sign of Marvel Studios.
Deadline has had access to the list of trailers that will be shown during the halftime break of the most important game of the year in the US, and unfortunately for superhero movie fans, there is absolutely nothing from ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ or ‘Avengers: Doomsday.’ This is particularly surprising given the number of teasers Marvel has been releasing over the last few weeks since December, when ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ was released.
In the case of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, it is the film that will be released earlier: on July 31, so even though we won’t see a preview during the Super Bowl, it’s likely that the first one won’t be long in coming. Perhaps we’ll have to wait a little longer for the first big trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, as it won’t be released until December 18.
What trailers will be shown during Super Bowl LX?
Although we won’t be seeing anything from Marvel Studios, there will be some big movies featured during the game’s halftime show, before and after Bad Bunny’s performance. Disney won’t be bringing Marvel, but it will bring Star Wars with a new trailer for ‘The Mandalorian & Grogu‚’ while we’ll also get to see the first trailers for movies such as ‘Michael‚’ the Michael Jackson biopic, and ‘Scream 7’. Other confirmed films include Pixar’s new release, ‘Hoppers,’ while ‘Toy Story 5′ has not been confirmed but could be featured. Other sure bets are ‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie,’ ‘Minions 3,’ and Spielberg’s new project, ‘Disclosure Day.’
