Netflix premieres documentary that uncovers a web of conspiracy and lies in one of the most heinous crimes of the 1960s
Charles Manson is Netflix’s new target in its latest documentary, already released on the platform.
Netflix is the home of the documentary. The production company has stepped behind the camera to give a voice to those who suffered from some of the most infamous murders in Europe and the United States. The latest to join the list is Charles Manson, a figure who has been shrouded in mystery and death since the horrific events of the 1960s.
Manson documentary now on Netflix offers new look at killer
In an hour and a half, CHAOS: The Manson Murders explores the web of mind control conspiracies and murders perpetrated by the Manson cult in the 1960s. Authoritative voices who experienced firsthand what life was like for the psychopath’s followers appear throughout the documentary. It is already available on the platform for all subscribers, regardless of mode.
The film is directed by Errol Morris, a well-known director who has mastered the art of documentary filmmaking with films such as ‘The Unknown Known’ (2013), ‘American Dharma’ (2018) and ‘A Brief History of Time’ (1991), among others.
Charles Manson has been on the lips of many filmmakers in recent years. His most famous appearance was in ‘Once Upon a Time in .... Hollywood’ (2019), one of Quentin Tarantino’s latest works. Although the movie is about the rise and fall of an actor at the height of the sound boom in the capital of American cinema, in the background there is a murder plot in which, of course, Manson and his followers appear.
