Netflix Reveals New 'One Piece' Cast for Season 2, Bids Farewell to Jamie Lee Curtis

Two of the most anticipated characters have already been cast.

One Piece’ continues to receive news on all fronts, and one of the most prominent has to do with the Netflix live-action. One of the most beloved characters of the series that will appear in this second season is Dr. Kureha, who has long been linked by fans to renowned actress Jamie Lee Curtis. The show’s creators had already confirmed that the Oscar winner would not be appearing in the series, and finally, the actress chosen fits the role perfectly and has a long career in the world of acting.

Katey Sagal will play Kureha, an American actress known around the world for her prominent roles on such popular shows as ‘Married with Children’ and ‘Sons of Anarchy’. In addition, Dr. Hiriluk will be played by Mark Harelik, a veteran actor who has worked on ‘Jurassic Park III’ and appeared on shows such as ‘Cheers’.

The casting of the new characters that will appear in the series is becoming clearer and clearer, and the choices seem absolutely spot-on at first glance.
