Netflix’s ‘One Piece’ adaptations confirm the actors chosen to play the giants Brogy and Dorry

Huge characters of great importance are making their way to the One Piece live-action adaptation, and now we know who’s playing them.

Update:
one piece

The live-action of ‘One Piece’ on Netflix continues to confirm details of its second season and the actors who will play mythical characters from the work of Eiichiro Oda. If we were recently able to see some names among which David Dastmalchian stood out as Mr. 3, now we put a face to the one who will take on a character who was part of the crew of the King of the Pirates; two giants that promise great emotions and memorable moments; as well as a peculiar villain who will, almost literally, chew the stage.

Among those chosen, one of the most notable names is Clive Russell, a 78-year-old veteran British actor who has participated in series such as ‘Game of Thrones’ and films such as ‘Thor: The Dark World’. The rest of the new actors and the characters they play are as follows:

  • Crocus - Clive Russell
  • Dorry - Werner Coetser
  • Brogy - Brendan Murray
  • Smoker - Callum Kerr
  • Tashigi - Julia Rehwald
  • Wapol - Rob Colletti
  • Dalton - Ty Keogh

‘One Piece’ and a huge cast that continues to reveal itself

Other names were recently confirmed to be joining ‘One Piece’ on Netflix, with Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, Camrus Johnson in the role of Mr. 5, Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, and one of the biggest names in the series until now: David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3.

The second season of ‘One Piece’ is aiming high after the enormous success of the first one. A live-action adaptation that exceeded all the expectations that could have been placed on it, and that should go even further as one of the most incredible adventures ever created progresses.
