New ‘Dragon Ball Daima’ Trailer Reveals Three Mysterious Characters, Confirms Key Art and Release Date
Meet Glorio, Majin and Gomah, Goku’s allies and enemies in the next anime of the series.
What a way to start the weekend! ‘Dragon Ball Daima’ has just released a new trailer confirming its release date (October 2024) and introducing the main characters and new characters we will meet in this adventure. A video that shows an important and unexpected role for Kaio-shin, reveals the name of the child form of Goku and company (Mini) and gives a glimpse of some of the worlds and villains of the anime. Without further ado, enjoy:
Among the new characters are Glorio (bottom left), who appears in an airplane before Goku (Mini) and company; Majin, the masked cape-wearing (the central image behind these lines); and Gomah, whose intense stare from the shadows at our protagonists is highly suspicious:
They are joined by Goku (Mini) and Kai (Mini), who have grown small as part of a conspiracy and become involved in “a world of ‘Dragon Ball’ that no one has ever seen before.”
Here is an artwork of all the characters revealed in the trailer, as well as those already announced and known. From left to right we find: Gomah, Masked Majin, Glorio the plane pilot, Goku (mini), Kaio-shin (mini), Vegeta (mini) and Piccolo (mini). All from the mind of Akira Toriyama.
Last but not least, we leave you with the official poster for the series. Featuring Goku (Mini) and Kaio-shin (Mini) on the back of a dragon, it shows both characters embarking on the adventure and in the background, three unknown worlds and some of the new characters we will meet this time. The official ‘Dragon Ball Daima’ account raises the question: what will they do in the story and how will they be involved in Goku’s odyssey?
