You know, one of those livestreams where the company showcases all kinds of games and news. This time, the new Nintendo Direct will take place on June 9 at 10:00 AM ET. The announcement was made through the Nintendo Today app, and details are still in development.

What to expect from this Nintendo Direct?

With the Nintendo Switch 2’s 1st anniversary, this will be a special Nintendo Direct. It’s time to find out everything coming after July of this year—the month Splatoon Raiders arrives on the console, bringing with it the first wave of titles for the hybrid console’s first year. Will the previously announced Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, which was slated for 2026, finally get a release date? Rumors suggest that, this time for sure, a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is on the way. Perhaps we’ll get our first glimpse of a new 3D Super Mario title? At least Professor Layton’s latest adventure... For now, it’s all speculation, but we won’t have to wait much longer to find out what this console has in store for us.
