The expected February Nintendo Direct is no longer a rumor, but a reality. Will it be the scenario to announce the first Xbox multiplatform games?

New Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase announced: date, time, length and how to watch

The February Nintendo Direct has become a reality. After many rumors, and rumors of other rumors, and official presentations that gave strength to other rumors... everything stops and the first Nintendo broadcast of the year will be a Partner Showcase.

Through its social media, Nintendo announced that its first Nintendo Direct of the year will be held on February 21 at 6:00 AM PT. As mentioned in the tweet, the announcement will last 25 minutes and will be dedicated to its third-party partners and titles coming to Nintendo Switch in the first half of 2024.

How to watch live the Nintendo Direct on February 21?

The new Nintendo Direct can be followed through Nintendo of America’s Youtube channel. As usual, in MeriStation we will also cover the event and if you miss it (or just want to know the most important), relax because at the end of the streaming we will have several summaries, news, impressions and reports and texts about what was announced.

What time and how long is the Nintendo Direct on February 21?

The Nintendo Direct on February 21st will take place at 6:00 AM PT and will last about 25 minutes. This will be its schedule throughout the United States:

  • 9:00 AM ET
  • 8:00 AM CT
  • 6:00 AM PT

What can we expect from this Nintendo Direct?

Since this is a Partner Direct, we can expect a lot of publishers and third-party studios with upcoming games coming to Nintendo Switch this year. On the other hand, this could be a possible scenario for one of the Xbox studios to present one of the 4 titles that will be multiplatform according to their new strategy.

On the other hand, and considering that Nintendo is very direct (all puns intended) in its communication, considering that they might show something of the Nintendo Switch successor would be more than a dream, considering the latest reports. According to sources consulted by media such as VGC, Eurogamer or Bloomberg, Nintendo has informed partners that the successor to Nintendo Switch will be delayed a few months and will not be available until early 2025. According to these reports, those in Kyoto intend to arm a good catalog of launch games.
