New Pokémon Presents announced for summer: date, time, and how to watch

Pokémon Legends: Z-A aims to leave more news in this event, what more surprises could be in store?

Update:

Summer is going to be an interesting time for Pokémon fans. The Pokémon Company has confirmed that in July we will have a new edition of Pokémon Presents, the digital event in which the company unveils its next moves and news related to the saga. And although details are scarce for now, expectations are already sky-high.

The next Pokémon Presents will be held on Tuesday, July 22, and can be viewed through the franchise’s official YouTube channel. The exact time and content of the event have not yet been specified, but everything points to it being one of the most important in recent years.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A and a lot of unknowns to be solved

The announcement comes shortly after the release date was confirmed for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, which will be released for Nintendo Switch and its successor, Nintendo Switch 2, on October 16. Unsurprisingly, fans are expecting more details on different aspects of the game at the upcoming Pokémon Presents, such as its map, characters or new gameplay features that we haven’t seen yet. And of course, another announcement that could be made during the broadcast is the rumored remakes of Pokémon White and Pokémon Black, two Nintendo DS titles that were very popular in their day for their storyline and characters.

Beyond this, we must remember that next year will be the 30th anniversary of the franchise, so rumors about the possible announcement of the tenth generation are gaining momentum again on social networks. Will we have new Pokémon in 2026? The new Pokémon Presents could put our doubts to rest.
