New PS5 State of Play dedicated to Japan and the rest of Asia confirmed: date and time
PlayStation confirms a new edition of its flagship event, this time focused on Asia.

PlayStation surprises us with what will most likely be its last event of 2025. State of Play is back, this time with an important twist: it will focus on the industry in Japan and the rest of the Asian market, marking a shift from the company’s previous presentations with its global studios, or focusing solely on a single specific title.
Date, time, and first details of State of Play Japan
State of Play Japan will be held this Tuesday, November 11, starting at 5:00 PM ET. The event will last “more than 40 minutes” and will focus on games created in Japan and the rest of Asia, covering “from beloved series to distinctive indie creations, the show, hosted by voice actor Yuki Kaji, will be packed with great games, interviews, and new looks at anticipated titles.” Resident Evil Requiem, from Capcom, has a good chance of appearing.
We know that the event will be hosted by voice actor Yuki Kaji, a renowned performer behind characters such as Eren in ‘Shingeki no Kyojin’. It will be presented entirely in Japanese with subtitles in English and other languages.
Tune in Tuesday at 2pm PT | 5pm ET for State of Play Japan, a special broadcast curated for gamers in Japan and Asia.
