New State of Play announced for June 2, 2026, with more Marvel’s Wolverine details; time and first details

PlayStation has officially announced a new edition of State of Play, scheduled for June 2, kicking off the Summer Game Fest 2026 lineup. The presentation will run for over an hour and will feature “news and updates on upcoming PS5 games,” according to the PlayStation Blog, with the main attraction being a long-awaited new look at Marvel’s Wolverine from Insomniac Games.
At the time of writing, no additional titles have been confirmed for the showcase, leaving room for potential surprises during the PS5 presentation. This will be PlayStation’s first State of Play in several months. The previous broadcast took place on February 12, featuring Kena: Scars of Kosmora, Silent Hill: Townfall, Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2, John Wick, and the announcement of the God of War Trilogy Remake.

The State of Play livestream will be available on PlayStation’s official YouTube and Twitch channels. The broadcast will be presented in English, with Japanese subtitles also available. Here are the confirmed start times in the United States:
