There was a lot of desire, as many as rumors, and here it is: the first Nintendo Direct of Switch 2 is official and we will see it tomorrow, Thursday, July 31. A highly anticipated event for gamers, since two months after the launch of Nintendo Switch 2 with Mario Kart World and just a few days after the arrival of Donkey Kong Bananza, the expectation to know the future plans of the Japanese company is at its peak.
When and what time is the Nintendo Direct for Switch 2
The Nintendo Direct will take place on Thursday, July 31 at 6:00 am PT. You will be able to follow it live on Nintendo’s official YouTube channel. Below are the times across the United States:

What to expect from the Nintendo Direct announcements
In the absence of any surprises that no one can foresee, there are high expectations for what Nintendo Switch 2 could receive from third parties in the near future. This means that we will see absolutely nothing of what Nintendo has prepared in-house, so do not expect to see anything related to Metroid Prime 4. What we can expect are other games that we have already seen as is the case of Elden Ring and its release date and possible announcements such as Metaphor: ReFantazio, Persona 3 Reload, games of the Yakuza franchise, Resident Evil and more.
