Nintendo schedules an unusual Sunday Nintendo Direct dedicated to The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
The early-morning presentation will offer an exclusive look at the upcoming film.

On Sunday, whether we like it or not, we will have to wake up very early. In a rather strange move, Nintendo announced a Nintendo Direct for this weekend focused on its upcoming film, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
The news was announced via the Nintendo Today app and on social media. “Join us on Sunday, Jan. 25, at 6 a.m. PT for the #NintendoDirect featuring an exclusive look at The Super Mario Galaxy Movie,” reads the post, making it very clear that this presentation will focus entirely on information about the movie, and “no game information will be included.” The date is definitely very unusual for Nintendo, as it takes place on a weekend.
Join us on Sunday, Jan 25, at 6am PT for the #NintendoDirect featuring an exclusive look at The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Please note that no game information will be included in this presentation.

When and at what time will the Nintendo Direct focused on The Super Mario Galaxy Movie take place?
This Nintendo Direct will take place on Sunday, January 25, and the times are as follows throughout the United States:
- 9:00 am ET
- 8:00 am CT
- 6:00 am PT
What can we expect from this Nintendo Direct?
This is the second presentation of the film. The first was in November, where the first trailer was shown and, after some leaks, the arrival of characters such as Rosalina, who will be voiced by Brie Larson, and Bowser Jr., voiced by Benny Safdie, was confirmed.
For now, we can expect the director to show us a new trailer for the film and, with it, learn a little more about the characters that will appear in this sequel. We will have to go to bed early on Saturday to see what will be presented.
