No Man’s Sky can’t stop releasing free content, as new trailer shows off fishing expansion Aquarius

Hello Games has just announced a new free update for No Man’s Sky, Aquarius, which is even more content after the recent Worlds: Part 1 overhaul.

No Man's Sky Aquarius

No Man’s Sky keeps on evolving month after month, year after year, since its now distant and controversial original launch in 2016. Ever since, Hello Games, with Sean Murray at the helm, remains committed to expanding and improving their space exploration title to the point that, currently, it seems like a completely new game when compared to its version 1.0. Now, as part of the new wave of updates known as Worlds: Part 1, a new free update called Aquarius focused on fishing activities is being released. We already have its trailer, a preview of its new content now available on PC and consoles that you can see below.

Go fishing through the galaxy!

The Aquarius update doesn’t try to fool anyone: It’s time to fish in No Man’s Sky. And it does so through a good handful of new features focused on such a noble activity, adding a fishing system, hundreds of fish to catch and catalog, baits of all kinds and conditions, brand new recipes to cook our prey, a new diving suit to explore even the deepest waters and even a base that floats above the surface of lakes and rivers.

Aquarius also includes a new expedition with the same name as this new batch of content, available now and for the next six weeks. It is a community mission focused on fishing through different galaxies, with very interesting rewards such as a new jetpack and complete fishing equipment.

All this and much more through patch 5.10 of No Man’s Sky, available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
