Nolan reveals the secret of his next film: it will be an adaptation of ‘The Odyssey’ with this star-studded cast
The ‘Interstellar’ director surprises with the context of his next movie.
Surprise: Nolan takes on classical Greece with mythological and fantasy overtones. The director of ‘Interstellar’ and ‘Tenet’ will be responsible for adapting ‘The Odyssey’ to the big screen with a star-studded cast. Homer’s epic poem will be the basis for a movie that will clash with the other projects the filmmaker has in the works.
The play tells the story of Odysseus' return home after the Trojan War. He has fought for ten long years and will have to spend another ten to reach Ithaca, where he is presumed dead. The hero’s intelligence is one of the keys to overcoming the obstacles he encounters along the way.
The star-studded cast of Nolan’s new movie
Robert Pattinson was one of the first to join the star-studded cast. The latest Batman in theaters will share the screen with Tom Holland and Zendaya, Hollywood’s hottest couple, Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o and Charlize Theronm, among others who have not been revealed.
Not a single detail is known about the movie. In fact, not even the actors themselves knew what it was about when they accepted their roles, beyond a vague description like the one that transcended. Tom Holland recently spoke about it with an expression that could be translated as “extremely confidential.” Nolan is very jealous of the information that is shared about the project prior to shooting to avoid unwanted leaks. And the truth is, with the context he has chosen, he has the interest of half the industry.
