One Piece

Oda may have hidden the name of Shanks' ‘twin’ right under our noses

Shanks and his twin may have similarities beyond appearance, suggesting a connection through the name.

One Piece Shanks

The Elbaf arc of ‘One Piece’ is in full swing, giving fans plenty of reasons to pay attention to its surprises and news. And one of them is everything surrounding Shanks’ twin, who appeared in a castle in the village of Elbaf. Fans of Luffy’s adventures want to know more about this mysterious character, about whom Oda has not revealed much information, and there are already those who think they have guessed his name.

What is the name of Shanks' twin in ‘One Piece’?

Everything seems to indicate that Shanks' twin is closely related to a beloved character that fans have known since the very first episode of the series. And that is that at first it was believed that this character was Shanks himself, working for the government, being a traitor. However, it seems that this is not the case and that he is a “twin” of the famous pirate. So much so that they are practically identical, although the double does not have the characteristic scar on his face.

Thus, Shanks' twin is a God’s Knight with a very high rank among the Celestial Dragons, being the successor of the Figarland family after Garling, which already gives us a clue as to his possible name, to which we must add that it must be similar to Shanks', with a name based on a tool or weapon, like his brother’s.

At this point, fans are already fantasizing about names like Sword - because of his connection to the God’s Knights - although Lance is more likely. However, Falchion is also in the mix because of his lineage. Another name suggested by fans is Saber, although it is not as popular as the previous ones. In any case, Oda has already suggested that the name of Shanks' twin should be worthy of a knight and a warrior at the same time.
