One of the creators of Stranger Things assures that the teaser has no spoilers: “just barely scratches the surface”

In the middle of this week, Netflix revealed the highly anticipated teaser for season 5 of Stranger Things. It was a shocking preview, which, after more than three years since the end of the fourth season, gives us that long-awaited first glimpse of what happens in Hawkins. But if after so long you still haven’t seen the trailer because you prefer to watch as “safe” as possible from spoilers to the new installment... there’s good news.

As he shared alongside the trailer, Ross Duffer, one of the masterminds behind Stranger Things, comments that we shouldn’t worry about spoilers. “Don’t worry about spoilers—this teaser pulls from every episode except 7, but it’s mostly Volume One and just barely scratches the surface.”

“The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna”, reads the official synopsis of this season 5. “But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding.”

“As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread,” continues. “The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time.”

When will Stranger Things Season 5 debut?

The premiere of the fifth season of ‘Stranger Things’ will be quite peculiar. The first four episodes will arrive on Netflix on November 26, while the next 3 will do the same on Christmas Day, December 25. The last and final one will be available on the platform on New Year’s Eve, December 31.
