One of the world’s most popular manga series was released almost a decade ago and looks set to come to an end soon
The editor of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s work talks about the status of the work on social media.

When we think of the most popular manga series of the last ten years, one of the first works that comes to mind is 'Chainsaw Man,' by Tatsuki Fujimoto. A series that has stood out in a big way as an anime, both on the small and big screen, and which, in the case of its manga, could be closer to its end than previously thought.
Shihei Lin, editor of Chainsaw Man, has spoken about this topic on social media, celebrating the release of the latest volume of the manga in Japan on X (formerly Twitter). In his post, he mentions that “The story finally reaches its core,” a phrase that can be interpreted as a sign that the work is entering its final stage.
ついに物語は核心へ…!

Another notable series from Shonen Jump magazine nears its end
The current state of the ‘Chainsaw Man’ manga reinforces the idea that its conclusion could be near. Volume 23, recently published in Japan, includes chapters 211 to 222, whose events may place the work in a clearly final phase.

‘Chainsaw Man’ is shaping up to be another notable series that could disappear from the pages of Shonen Jump in the coming years. This is a complex scenario for the historic magazine, which, beyond some of its great classics, faces the need for a clear renewal after the end of several works that marked the last decade.
