One Piece Day 2025: dates, times, confirmed events, and what announcements to expect from Netflix’s live-action series
A must-see event for all fans of Eiichiro Oda’s work.
The ‘One Piece’ phenomenon continues to grow with the anime and manga at their peak, and as every year, there is no better place to celebrate Eiichiro Oda’s work than One Piece Day. If you are unable to attend, you can follow it on his YouTube channel. The 2025 edition is changing venues. While in 2024 it was held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, this time it will take place at Tokyo Big Sight in Koto, a special ward of Tokyo, from August 9 to 10.
The event will kick off this Saturday, with the merchandising area open from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and the exhibition area open from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Japan Standard Time). Sunday, the 10th, will be the main day of One Piece Day 2025, with the exhibition area open from 10:15 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., which corresponds to 9:15 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on the East Coast.
An event with big news about One Piece
During One Piece Day 2025, more news is expected about the Netflix live-action version, with a panel dedicated to the series. Some previews are also expected about the highly anticipated remake ‘The One Piece,’ by Wit Studio.
What events have been confirmed for One Piece Day 2025? Highlights include a panel with the voice actors from the Egghead arc: Akemi Okamura (Nami), Kappei Yamaguchi (Usopp), Hiroaki Hirata (Sanji), Ikue Otani (Tony Tony Chopper), Yuriko Yamaguchi (Nico Robin), Katsuhisa Hoki (Jinbe), Reiko Takagi (Jewelry Bonney), and Hideyuki Hori (Bartholomew Kuma). There will also be musical performances by Hiroshi Kitadani, MUQUÉ, and CHAMELEON LIME WHOOPIEPIE.
