One Piece: Eiichiro Oda confirms who the most powerful haki user in the series is

An enormous power whose full potential we have yet to see.

We have been immersed in the odyssey of the Straw Hat Pirates for almost three decades, the time that Eiichiro Oda’s work has been published. ‘One Piece’ continues to evolve and the mysteries are unraveling, but all kinds of doubts remain, and one that many followers of the series have is about the most powerful haki user of all.

Eiichiro Oda has told us through his pages that from what we know so far, there was no Haki like Joy Boy’s, and we could see it being used by Emet, who kept a part of that Haki inside himself so that the Mugiwara could escape from Egghead. But who is the most powerful at the moment? What has been shown of Joy Boy is impressive, perhaps unmatched in comparison to what has been seen so far, but in the time the series has been set, no one has shown a haki like Shanks’. Akagami showed what he is capable of by completely destroying Eustass Kid and his gang almost effortlessly.

One Piece and its power scale

Will Luffy be able to reach that level? Considering that the protagonist is the second coming of Joy Boy, it is very possible that he will reach it, although the power scale of the series might make some users who specialize in Haki and do not have an Akuma no Mi always have that advantage in terms of the power of their Haki because they had to perfect it to the limit.

What is Haki? some may ask. A word that literally means ambition, and in the universe of ‘One Piece’ it is a mysterious and latent power found in all living beings, although most of them have it in a state of check. There are several types of Haki, the most notable of which is the Haoshoku Haki, also known as the Supreme King Haki, a strange form that allows the user to exert their willpower over others and which cannot be achieved through training, as only one in several million people is born with it.
