One Piece

‘One Piece’ makes the biggest revelation in its history and everything, absolutely everything, makes sense

Manga chapter 1113 revealed what the Egghead incident was that would shake the world and boy, it did. The end of the series is getting closer and closer.

Luffy

Have you ever wondered why Eiichiro Oda covers his face and changes it to that of a fish every time he is asked for a picture or drawing of himself? Maybe you thought he was shy, or that he had some kind of complex, or that he just didn’t want to be famous and get recognized and stopped every time he walked down the street. It could still be one of those reasons, but ‘One Piece’ manga chapter 1113 suggests another possibility. What if the author was hinting at the end of his work with all those underwater self-portraits? Because the so-called “Egghead Incident”, the event that was supposed to cause “an unprecedented shock”, has now been revealed. Vegapunk has announced that the world of ‘One Piece’ will sink into the sea, and believe it or not, it all makes sense.

Because maybe the Celestial Dragons were not wearing astronaut suits, but diving suits. Maybe their city, Mary Geoise, was built on a mountain to avoid this moment and to be the only one to survive the flood.

Perhaps Sanji’s dream of seeing the All Blue is not madness, but what will happen when the level of the oceans rises and crosses the Red Line. Nothing would separate them, and they would unite to form an infinite ocean with every species of fish there is.

Did you also notice that all the members of Gol D. Roger’s gang, the former Pirate King, are ready for this moment? Crocus has built a home for himself inside Laboon the Whale, and Rayleigh has set up a business on Gyojin Island that involves “coating” ships so that they can dive and sail under the sea. What if the One Piece had something to do with this? What if what they found in Laugh Tale tipped them off?

But be careful, because they are not the only ones who seem to be “favoring” this event. What about Shanks? It’s been repeated several times that neither he nor any of his crew are Devil’s Fruit users. In other words, the sea does not affect them negatively, and they would not be in danger of drowning like Luffy, Blackbeard, and many of his crew members. This again links the redhead to the Celestial Dragons, would trigger conspiracy theories and makes him the strongest and best positioned candidate to find the One Piece.

Sit back because we’re just getting started. Many more pieces of the puzzle have suddenly fallen into place. Has anyone wondered how Impel Down, the Marines prison, came to be? If the floods are cyclical, as has been claimed, the answer is simple. Level 5 of the prison was once on the surface.

From one structure to another. Remember when Iceburg, the mayor of Water 7, said he wanted his city to float? Well, that madness now makes perfect sense. The Water Capital’s canals and elevator system have made it one of the safest destinations on the Grand Line.

More than one will need to brush up on the Gyojin Island arc and all the references to Noah, the Ship of Promise. It was a sort of Noah’s Ark that Joy Boy gave to the inhabitants for when “the promised day” came. It was practically destroyed in the confrontation between Hody Jones and Luffy, though the Sea Kings saved its remains and the Gyojin talked about repairing it, but did they have time?

Now think of Tequila Wolf, the country where Robin wanted to stop in the time skip. A corner of the East Blue where they were working on a colossal bridge (way above sea level) to connect all the islands of the world.

And remember Wano and the strange layout of the island. The land was protected from the outside world because of the strange shape of its perimeter. Does this mean that it will be exposed once everything is flooded? Will it mean the return of Yamato to the main stage? Not to mention the submerged city around it, a marine wreck that is repeated on all the islands of the Grand Line.

Not to mention Zou Island - even the design of Arabasta looks like it was designed for a future flood!

Everything, absolutely everything, fits into “One Piece” and it makes you want to read the story from the beginning and try to figure out how far back Oda had this move in mind. How many things we haven’t found out yet will be affected by the flood? Will it matter that Enel is now on the moon and the tides depend on it? Won’t Im Sama, the ultimate villain, be the sea demon of Japanese folklore?

There is only one word to describe the end of manga chapter 1113: Goda. We can’t wait to see what the flooding of the world will bring in the next episode.
