‘One Piece’ once again drives a wedge between Zoro and Sanji with the confirmation of one of their great debates
The eternal personal battle is decided, for the time being...

The ‘One Piece’ manga has generated a great deal of debate over the years. But one of the most recurring ones revolves around which of the two is more powerful: Zoro and Sanji, two of the strongest members of the Straw Hat Pirates. Although there are many who believe that, at the end of the work, the power of both will be very similar, the last chapter of the manga gives, for now, the advantage to the swordsman.
What is the reason? One Piece is in the middle of the Elbaph arc, in a moment of maximum intensity: the land of the giants is attacked by the Knights of God and Imu himself, who uses Gunko as a host. It is then that Scopper Gaban, once Gol D. Roger’s left-hand man, comments about Zoro, which has sparked a great debate today.

The power of the Conquerors
The haoshoku haki, also known as Conqueror’s Haki, is the most powerful type of haki, which can only be obtained at birth and cannot be obtained through training. Although it had not been officially confirmed, many already assumed that Roronoa Zoro was a haoshoku haki user after what was shown in the Wano arc, and now Gaban confirms it.
To take down the God’s Knights, it is mandatory to know this ability, and, according to Gaban, Zoro is one of its possessors. What’s remarkable about this situation? The swordsman himself is unaware of it, having used this ability unconsciously, but, from the legendary pirate’s comments, it doesn’t look like Sanji may have it anytime soon. Will this completely break the debate between the two? We’ll have to wait to find out, but the roles and usefulness of the two in this arc could be very different.
