This is the new 'One Piece' look for Egg Head Island

Welcome to Egghead

Wano finished, 'One Piece' has announced the next arc of the anime: Egghead, also known as the Island of the Future.

Release date

The first episode of the Egghead arc will air on January 7, 2024.

Will it be as long as Wano?

We are coming from the longest arc in the history of the series. In the anime, Wano went from episode 892 to 1085 (i.e. 193 episodes and took 4 years, 4 months and 19 days).

In the manga it is not finished yet

Egghead started in more than a year ago with chapter 1062 of the manga. It was published in September 2022 and 38 episodes later it still hasn't ended.

Change of style

The first images of this arc suggest a visual facelift, moving away from what was seen in Wano and opting for a more cartoonish style.

Farewell to traditional Japanese style

Wano was the arch of the samurai and his drawings and designs were a continuous homage to Hokusai and Japanese ukiyo-e painting.

New wink

In Egghead the reference seems clear: Astro Boy.

The Philosopher's Stone

The characters look much younger and mischievous, but don't be fooled, Egghead is not all laughs and jokes.

This is the future

Egghead is the island of Vegapunk, so expect all kinds of inventions and technology from the top brain of the Marine.

New characters

Yamato's widows can rest easy. New faces will make you forget your sorrows (as well as old acquaintances, both enemies and members of the Worst Generation).

Peak fiction

We know that Wano was one of the most important arcs of the series, but to bring the manga up to date, believe us, what's coming is no slouch.
