The Golden Globes 2024 took place last night, where the protagonist was undoubtedly the “Barbenheimer” phenomenon, a great, if admittedly cheeky rivalry that has been maintained ever since ‘Oppenheimer’ and ‘Barbie’revealed they would release on the exact same day of 2023, quickly becoming the two biggest audience favorites to win many of the awards. However, it was Christopher Nolan’s film that came out clearly the winner of the night, with no less than five awards, including some of the most important ones such as Best Motion Picture (Drama), Best PErformance (Drama) and Best Director.

Meanwhile, in the television category, ‘Sucession’ took the center stage with four awards, but there was still space for others like ‘Beef’ and ‘The Bear’, who went home with three awards each. It should be noted that in both film and television there are categories by gender, so many of the favorites in both categories did not compete directly, giving rise to a much larger distribution of awards.
