Pedro Pascal shares the first complete cast photo for ‘The Fantastic Four’
The four stars that will become Marvel Studios’ First Family have come together in the UK to start filming, and Pedro Pascal gives us our first look at the team.
While ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ arrives this weekend in theaters around the world, the next Marvel Studios productions are already underway. ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is already taking shape (it premieres in February 14, 2025), and the new reboot of ‘The Fantastic Four’ will do so shortly afterwards, since for now, its team has met for the first time in the United Kingdom, a moment that was immortalized by Pedro Pascal.
Pascal leads the new attempt at bringing the ‘Fantastic Four’ to the big screen
Once he finished his work with the second season of ‘The Last of Us’ and ‘Gladiator 2′, Pascal - who will play Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic- is already with the rest of the family: Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm/Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm/Human Torch), and Ebon Ross Bachrach (Ben Grimm/The Thing). In the other image of the publication, you can see director Matt Shakman.
In addition to the four of them, the cast also includes Ralph Ineson, who will be Galactus, and Julia Garner, who will be the herald of the Devourer of Worlds, Silver Surfer. As Kevin Feige assured a long time ago, this new Fantastic Four adventure will not be set in the same timeline as the most recent MCU films.
“There was another piece of art we released with Johnny Storm flying in the air making a 4 symbol,” explained the Marvel Studios CEO. “There was a cityscape in that image, and there were a lot of smart people who noticed that that cityscape didn’t look exactly like the New York that we know or the New York that existed in the 60s in our world. Those are smart observations, I’ll say…”
‘The Fantastic Four’ premieres on July 25, 2025.
