Persona 3 Reload Announces Expansion Pass, Adding 3 Waves of Content

Atlus clears up any doubts and reveals the content that players of its latest RPG will receive in the coming months thanks to an expansion pass.

The Xbox Partner Preview has given us some surprises today, both new titles and some additional content that will arrive in the coming weeks. Atlus was part of this presentation and announced that their latest remake, Persona 3 Reload, will receive an Expansion Pass that will add to some of the content that this iconic title has received over the years.

Persona 3 Reload: Expansion Pass, all its contents

This expansion pass will include three waves of downloadable content, starting next week with Wave 1, which includes the EX BGM Sets for Persona 5 Royal and Persona 4 Golden. Wave 2 will arrive sometime in May, adding the Velvet Costume & BGM Set.

The big final content will be added in September. As part of Wave 3 of the Expansion Pass, we will receive Episode Aigis - The Answer - an additional chapter that comes with the recently released remake, where our characters will enter a time loop where they will meet Metis. This will add the epilogue that was added in Persona 3: FES, adding the dungeon The Abyss of Time, the ability to fight with multiple Personas, and new theurgies. This will be available until September 2024, so you’ll have plenty of time to finish the title and wait for this additional content.

It should be noted that Xbox Game Pass suscribers will be able to access this content at no additional cost.

Persona 3 Reload, a remake to consider

The Persona franchise has taken an important popularity in recent years, so we have these options to play again or for new users to enter this world. In our review, we mentioned that “Persona 3 Reload is an RPG that proves that in the world of remakes, many improvements can be made, especially when it comes to quality of life. Though the game feels encompassed by Persona 5, for better or worse, the balance leads us to a version that not only breathes new life into a game from the PlayStation 2 era, but also brings those new fans who felt inaccessible an experience from 18 years ago.”
