PlayStation State of Play: time, how to watch, and how long the PS5 event will last

The first State of Play of 2026 will take place this Thursday, February 12. PlayStation will broadcast a live event in which new video games and news about already announced PS5 titles will be revealed. Sony has confirmed that the presentation will focus on independent and third-party titles, although there will also be room for PlayStation Studios productions.

Players will be able to enjoy more than 60 minutes of news about video games coming to PS5. Below, we break down the schedule across the United States.

What to expect from PS5 State of Play

As for what to expect, PlayStation has not revealed any of the games that will be featured in State of Play, but it is very plausible that titles such as Resident Evil Requiem or Pragmata, which will be released soon, will appear. Marathon, Saros, and Marvel’s Tokon: Fighting Souls are PlayStation Studios projects that we could see. In addition, Guerrilla has announced Horizon Hunters Gathering, a new multiplayer video game.

In response to a user on social media platform X, Insomniac Games has hinted that it will not be releasing any further information about Marvel’s Wolverine until spring 2026. Therefore, barring any surprises, it seems unlikely that the game will be released.
