Pokémon Night Out brings EDM to the franchise with live concerts headlined by Marshmello in 2026
Update:

Earlier this year, Pokémon not only asked us “What’s Your Favorite?” but also made it clear that 2026 would be a pivotal year for the brand’s 30th anniversary, filled with celebrations. Among the already confirmed announcements are the 2026 Pokémon World Championships and Pokémon XP, but there were also two events that drew particular attention and about which very few details were known: Pokémon Night Out and Pokémon Day Out. Today, The Pokémon Company International has finally revealed the first official information about both.

Pokémon Night Out: EDM and Pokémon on the Same Stage

As part of the celebrations for Pokémon’s 30th anniversary, the company is launching an unprecedented crossover for the brand: electronic music concerts. Under the name Pokémon Night Out, two events will be held that will blend the Pokémon universe with Electronic Dance Music (EDM) for the first time. The lineup will be headlined by Marshmello, accompanied by Alison Wonderland as a guest artist. Both will deliver a show described as a “dynamic live music event with custom sets and visuals created exclusively for Pokémon Night Out.”

Pokémon Night Out has two confirmed dates. The first will take place on October 24 at the Intuit Dome, in Los Angeles, while the second will be on November 10, at The O2 Arena in London. Ticket sales will begin on April 17 through Ticketmaster and AXS, respectively.

The event is rated for attendees ages 16 and up. Additionally, fans will find a special Pokémon Center at the concerts, featuring exclusive Pokémon Night Out commemorative merchandise. Some of these products will also be available online in limited quantities.

Pokémon Day Out: A More Global and Family-Friendly Experience

On the other hand, Pokémon Day Out aims to be a much more accessible experience geared toward all audiences. This event will take place over the summer in various cities around the world, including Bordeaux (France), New York City, Dresden (Germany), and Mexico City.

Beyond the confirmation of these locations, no additional details about the activities or the format of Pokémon Day Out have been shared yet. However, everything points to it being a more family-friendly and open celebration, designed so that fans of all ages can participate.
