Pokémon Presents 2026: Everything announced for the Pokémon 30th Anniversary - Pokémon Champions, Pokémon Winds and Waves and more

New trailers and updates for most titles were among the big announcements at this special Pokémon presentation.

Today marks a very special day for the Pokémon community. Reaching a 30th anniversary is no easy feat, especially with the renewed momentum the brand has gained in recent years. After a XX-minute presentation, The Pokémon Company has shown us that there is still more to come for the pocket monsters and that a big celebration is ahead of us.

Everything announced in Pokémon Presents on Pokémon Day

The presentation was attended by Tsunekazu Ishihara, president of The Pokémon Company, who welcomed and thanked players for 30 years of adventures together.

Music Collection

Junichi Masuda presented a special music collection featuring 45 songs from Pokémon Red & Blue, just as we heard them 30 years ago.

Chris Brown, director of Pokémon events, spoke to us about the Pokémon World Championships, as well as Pokémon XP, the event that will accompany the championship to be held in San Francisco. Special artwork was presented, marking the union of these two events from August 28 to 30.

Pokémon TCG

A new expansion promises us that “The Future Awaits” with an expansion that will arrive at the same time worldwide. This collection promises powerful Pokémon and, in some cases, pairs of Pokémon, in time to celebrate 30 years of TCG.

Pokémon and its apps

Pokémon GO celebrates its 10th anniversary Pokémon will be returning with a Pokémon Go Tour to be held tomorrow. GOTOUR KALOS.

Pokémon EX Masters celebrates its 6.5th anniversary with the arrival of Red.

Pokémon Café Mix

Pokémon Sleep - Mew will arrive in Pokémon Sleep with some missions tonight.

Pokémon Unite - The three legendary birds of the first generation, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, arrive in the game today.

Pokémon TCG Pocket - In addition to the recent release of Paldean Wonders, there will be special rewards and missions to celebrate the 30th anniversary.

Pokémon XD Gale of Darkness will arrive as part of the Nintendo Switch Online titles for Nintendo Switch 2 in March.

Pokémon FireRed and GreenLeaf

Details about Pokémon FireRed and GreenLeaf, which arrive today, have been announced. And finally, compatibility with Pokémon Home has been confirmed.

Pokémon Champions

The competitive title is shown in a new trailer, highlighting the connection it will have with new players. Pokémon Champions will arrive in April 2026 to Niintendo Switch, later this year on smartphones.

Pokémon Legends Z-A

Pokémon Legends Z-A is also joining in on the celebrations. A trailer recaps what happened during the Megadimension expansion. It shows the new Mega Evolution Mega Garchomp Z, which will arrive as a mystery gift for the expansion.

Pokémon Pokopia

Ahead of its release in a few days, we have a sneak peek at what Pokémon Pokopia will be like. From DJ Rotom, a Rotom will play music to some of the special Pokémon we’ll encounter in the game, as well as the skills and events we’ll have in both single-player and multiplayer modes. Pokémon Pokopia arrives on the 5th.

Pokémon Winds & Pokémon Waves

The first teaser for the tenth generation has been released. And it seems that the rumors were true. Pokémon Winds & Pokémon Waves will take us to an island and jungle setting. The trailer also introduced us to the new starters, Browt, Pombon, and Gecqua.
