Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves are Generation 10 on Nintendo Switch 2 and will arrive in 2027
Pokémon Presents closes with the presentation of its upcoming canonical releases: Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves.

The Pokémon Company has closed Pokémon Presents in style, as could only be expected on the 30th anniversary of the series. It had to be with a new generation, Generation 10 to be precise, which already has a name: it will be Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves, and will arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 next year in 2027.
A new generation of Pokémon
As expected, at the beginning of the adventure, we will have to choose between Grass, Fire, or Water-type Pokémon, specifically Browt, Pombon, and Gecqua. However, in the trailer we have seen, a few more have been revealed, many of them true classics from the series.
Game Freak wanted to show off the game in all its glory in a trailer lasting more than three minutes, which this time does indeed highlight a necessary graphical leap forward after several installments in which the studio’s engine on Nintendo Switch clearly reached its limits.
