PS VR2 is getting a PC adapter, making it compatible with Half-Life Alyx and more: price and release date
Sony has shared the technical specs and more details for bringing its VR headset to PC and, more specifically, Steam.
It took a while, but now it’s official: Sony has announced a PS VR2 adapter for PC, with which you can use the PlayStation headset to enjoy every SteamVR title, among which are huge names such as Half-Life Alyx, Fallout 4 VR, and Phasmophobia.
The PS VR2 adapter for PC is priced at $59.99 and you can buy it through the official PlayStation store starting August 7, in addition to other retail stores that will have limited availability of the device. Its connection to your PC will be straightforward since it is only necessary to connect PS VR2 using the adapter and a DisplayPort 1.4 cable.

As usual, to enjoy virtual reality it is important to meet certain technical requirements. This time they’re not exactly high-end, so if you are a regular PC player it is very likely that your equipment is set and ready to play, but to avoid getting some disappointment, here are the official requirements:
NOTE: For optimal performance, the use of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600XT or later GPUs is recommended.
