The original anime is one of the most beloved by many fans and a gateway for those who are fans of the medium today.
The first trailer of the remake of Ranma 1/2 is here and promises interesting discussions about the evolution of styles and animations over the years. Through a special streaming has detailed some details of this revision of the martial arts classic based on the work of Rumiko Takahashi, which leaves us with information as important as the premiere will be on October 5 this year, as well as information about the seiyus who will give life to the characters.
As for the cast, it is noteworthy that they are mostly the same seiyus as the original, with only a few changes:
Therefore, the original actor of Soun Tendo, Ryusuke Obayashi, and half of Ranma’s father, Genma Saotome, Kenichi Ogata, who appears as the narrator, will be absent. The series will be directed by Konosuke Uda, director of One Piece from ‘99 to 2006, as well as director of several its movies such as The Giant Mechanical Soldier of Karakuri Castle and Dead End Adventure. MAPPA, known for works such as Chainsaw Man or Jujutsu Kaisen, will be responsible for bringing this classic back to televisions around the world. For its part, Netflix has acquired the international rights to the series, so the VOD service will be responsible for broadcasting it this fall.
