Resident Evil Requiem director on Ada and Claire’s return: “I am also very interested in the private relationship [with Leon]”

Despite being just a month away from release, Resident Evil Requiem remains shrouded in mystery and has sparked many theories among fans. After confirmation that Leon will be the other playable character in the adventure, many users began to cling to the possibility that Ada Wong or Claire Redfield might also reappear in cameo form, and to the surprise of many, the game’s director has spoken out on the subject.

According to Deadline, in an interview with Koshi Nakanishi, they took the opportunity to ask him about the presence of Ada or Claire in Resident Evil, and even if either of them is the person communicating with Leon through headphones at the beginning of the adventure. “I know a lot of fans are interested in similar things. We all want to know. I am also very interested in the private relationship between Leon and Ada. However, I can’t comment on either one of these things,“ said the director. What he did add at the end is that Capcom has put a lot of effort into the development of Resident Evil Requiem and that they have made sure ”implementing stories and things that fans will love and enjoy.” Nakanishi neither confirms nor denies this, so users continue to hope that one of the two will make a grand return at some point in the game.
