Resident Evil Requiem reignites the terror with a new trailer focused on Grace

The title will be available from February 27 on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS5, and PC.

Update:

Three decades after the destruction of Raccoon City, the saga’s story returns to square one. Resident Evil Requiem, the ninth installment of the franchise, returns revamped and with a new protagonist, Grace Ashcroft. The FBI analyst will have to return to the city that was once the Umbrella Corporation’s testing ground. During the Gamescom Night Live 2025 gala, Capcom kept its promise and unveiled a new trailer.

The series celebrates its 30th anniversary in top form, after revamping the formula with Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and going one step further with Resident Evil Village. The remakes of Resident Evil 2, 3, and 4 have also helped modernize the classics.

Akira Yamaoka wants to work on Resident Evil

He is a legend in video game music. The composer of Silent Hill left the Japanese company, but never left the series. Akira Yamaoka is part of the sound of the cursed village, but now he has another dream: he would like to work on a Resident Evil game. He acknowledged this in an interview, where he also said that it is a survival horror game that he “has played a lot.” It will probably never happen, but who knows, stranger things have happened.

Resident Evil: Requiem will be released on February 27 on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
