Rick and Morty season 7 gets a release date on Adult Swim and Max
The next season of Rick and Morty, one of the most popular animated series of the past decade, is approaching fast. Here’s when it premieres.
One of the most popular animated series of recent times returns in the form of a seventh season. Rick And Morty has already confirmed the release date of its seventh season on Adultswim and the streaming platform, Max, a return that presents outstanding news after the dismissal of Justin Roiland, one of the creators of the series and at the same time the voice of several of the main characters.
When does Rick and Morty season 7 come out?
We will be able to enjoy the new Rick and Morty on October 16 on Adult Swim and Max. The streaming platform will offer a total of ten episodes that will be published week by week and will make us live new adventures full of madness. One of the most beloved animation series by the public in recent times is preparing us for an outstanding final stretch of 2023 with the premiere of its new season, one that surely will not leave us indifferent.
One of the big questions that the new season offers is who will be in charge of replacing Justin Roiland as a voice actor. This will mean a change for those who enjoy the series in the original version, since Roiland has been in charge of giving voice to such important characters as Rick Sánchez and Morty Smith, the main protagonists, alongside many side characters.
An important moment for this animated series is that an anime directed by Takashi Sano, director of Tower of God, is also in production. It will have 10 episodes and will be a totally independent spin-off from the original series. The Japanese director already has experience with this animated series, and he was in charge of making two short films: Rick and Morty vs Genocider (2020) and Summer meets God (Rick meets Evil) (2021), which have been an outstanding success for Adult Swim on their platforms.
