Rise of the Ronin’s new gameplay trailer makes it clear Team Ninja is back with a vengeance

The last time we saw it, we said we were facing “a mix between Dark Souls and Ghost of Tsushima”. We are talking, of course, about Rise of the Ronin, an open-world action RPG for PS5 developed by Team Ninja (Ninja Gaiden and Nioh). We knew that today we would hear from it again, because Sony confirmed a few days ago that it would be one of the protagonists of the State of Play. No sooner said than done: Here you have a new gameplay focused on its huge open world.

Team Ninja, a highly focused studio

Since the Japanese studio surprised everyone and everyone with the acclaimed Nioh, the soulslike game set in a fantastic version of Japan infested with yokais, the team’s popularity has only skyrocketed. It’s not that they had the need to demonstrate their skill when it comes to action video games, because we must not forget that we are talking about those responsible for the Ninja Gaiden saga, although its commercial success came thanks to the saga inspired by the work of FromSoftware.
