Roblox accidentally gives away one of the most coveted in-game characters worth over $275

An expensive and coveted character was available for free in Roblox, but its developers have so far corrected the mistake.

Update:
Roblox accidentally gives away one of the most coveted in-game characters worth over $275

In video games, we have come across accessories and skins of all types and prices, some of which have become true examples of excess that the vast majority would like to see made more accessible. This is also happening in the world of Roblox, where recently one of the most expensive and coveted pieces was completely free for a short period of time.

Roblox makes a mistake with The Headless Horseman

The Headless Horseman collection reappeared for free in the in-game store for 15 minutes on November 16. This error by Roblox was due to a bug in their system and appeared along with other items that were not supposed to be part of the store. But why did this collection cause such a stir? This one is originally priced at 31,000 Roblox Robux, the in-game currency, which translates to nearly $300. The collection is one of the most sought-after by players, first appearing in the in-game store during the last Halloween season and containing a total of 11 cosmetic items, with the headless character standing out.

Roblox has responded to the bug

However, those who were quick enough to redeem The Headless Horseman to add it to their collection will be surprised to find that the item will be deleted from their inventory. Via the official Roblox forum, InceptionTime, one of the representatives of the company’s Developer Relations team confirmed that the company won’t honor the error. According to what was written, this was a bug, since it was “unintentionally " that this and other items appeared with a discount. The statement went on to say that “[Affected bundle(s) acquired during this period will be removed from the user’s inventory and we will be reaching out to impacted users directly”.

Well, as they say, “Easy come, easy go,” but at least Roblox continue to have a lot more content.
