Roll, Mark! Roll! Invincible universe expands with new tabletop role-playing game
Free League and Skybound bring the superhero series to the tabletop with exclusive rewards for early backers.

Season 4 of Invincible is a reality, but it’s still a long way from hitting our TV screens. And while we wait to follow Mark Grayson’s bloody adventures, a role-playing game could be our chance to delve even deeper into this universe. Free League Publishing, in collaboration with Skybound Entertainment, has announced that their new tabletop roleplaying game, Invincible – Superhero Roleplaying, is set to launch on Kickstarter on September 23.
Players eager to get their hands on the game can sign up now to be notified when the campaign goes live at 9:00 am ET / 6:00 am PT. The campaign offers special incentives for early supporters. Anyone who pledges for a physical reward within the first 48 hours of the launch will receive an exclusive bonus Viltrum Empire cloth patch at no additional cost. This is a great way for fans to show their allegiance to the powerful, and often fearsome, alien race from the series.
What to expect from the Kickstarter
The Kickstarter campaign will feature several key items for players and collectors. The main offering is a comprehensive Core Rulebook, available in both a standard edition and an exclusive Collector’s Edition. To help new players get started, there will also be a boxed Starter Set. Both the rulebook and the starter set will feature illustrations from the original comic artists, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley, ensuring the game captures the iconic visual style of the series. Fans will also be able to download a completely free Quickstart PDF, allowing them to try out the game’s mechanics right away.
In a unique reward for comic book enthusiasts, Skybound will print a limited run of Invincible #1 with a brand-new variant cover drawn and inked by Todd Nauck, with colors by Matt Herms, if a specific stretch goal is unlocked. This collaboration highlights the game’s commitment to staying true to its source material while offering a highly sought-after collectible item.
