Rotten Tomatoes’ list of the best and worst Alien movies and series has everything it takes to upset fans of Ridley Scott’s saga

Taking advantage of the premiere of Alien: Earth, the new Hulu series set on our planet, the websites that collect reviews and compile those ratings we love to see have updated their lists of the best and worst films in the series, something that always gives rise to a certain amount of controversy, especially when a highly acclaimed work is not at the top of the list (or when the opposite is true).

This is what has happened with the ranking of the best Alien films on Rotten Tomatoes, as ‘Alien: Earth’ has arrived with such force that it has surpassed ‘Alien’ itself, which, for many, is one of the best science fiction and horror films of all time. Another element that fans of the franchise may not like too much is that both ‘Prometheus’ and ‘Alien: Covenant’ are not the last in the series, even though they have been heavily criticized for years.
