Ryan Reynolds reveals the one joke Disney actually asked him to remove from ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’

‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ had a lot of jokes about Disney censoring the film, but Ryan Reynolds actually had to deal with one joke being removed.

Deadpool and Wolverine’ was rated R (for adults) for a reason, and that’s because it’s packed with violence, adult themes, and foul language, but even for Ryan Reynolds there are limits. At least imposed ones, as the actor pushed for a joke that, as he revealed months ago, Disney asked him to remove from the script.

The actor acknowledged at the time that they had given him a lot of freedom, so he had no problem having that detail with the higher echelons. After revealing himself what the joke was about, it is not difficult to understand why the company begged him to remove it. “There was only one line in the entire movie that they asked me to remove.”

Shawn Levy, a few weeks ago, assured fans that it would never be revealed. “My buddy Ryan is a son of a bitch. It took weeks to make it smoother, and we’re taking it to the grave”. However, Reynolds did not think the same and decided to reveal it.

“I have Pinocchio stuck up my ass and he is lying like a crazy man,” says the mercenary with the mouth at one point in the film, and this was the joke that replaced the original, which is much more brutal: “Damn, can’t we afford another X-Man? Disney is so cheap... I can barely breathe with Mickey Mouse’s cock in my throat”, understandably, once discovered, Disney asked them to delete the joke completely.
