Deadpool and Wolverine hits theaters on July 25, and Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, its stars, continue their world tour to promote this new superhero movie. The actors surprised everyone with some statements in a recent interview: both want to meet other Marvel characters like Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and the Hulk in hypothetical future adventures.

The source of this very strange information is Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman themselves in an interview in Thailand as part of the world tour to promote ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’.

The interviewer asks them which other Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero they would like to team up with. Ryan Reynolds responded as follows: “Deadpool is part of his storyline, he wants to matter, so badly wants to be an Avenger, a part of the team. And he just can’t quite get there, as Wolverine is everything I wish I was. He’s a legend, he matters, he saves people, and he has done hero stuff, but I have to pick one, I’d love to play with Spider-Man.

“He’s so cool. That would be great,” Jackman replied. “And since he’s young, we could make fun of him and touch his nose,” he continued. “And he’s young, we could pile on him and abuse him,” Reynolds replied with a chuckle. “I also want the Hulk. I just want him on my side. I don’t want fight against Hulk,” Jackman explained.

Full screen

Of course, this is not to say that there are currently any plans for Deadpool, Wolverine, Spider-Man, and Hulk movies together, or small cameos by them in future productions, but simply the personal desires of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman regarding sharing the screen with other representative heroes of the MCU. However, it will be interesting to see how the two actors feel about possible future collaborations with other Marvel characters.
