Fallout Season 2 reveals its stunning new trailer, making us want to go back to the Wasteland
The Wasteland looks as dangerous as ever.
Fallout became one of the best adaptations of a video game for television that we have ever seen. There are many factors that play in its favor, and it certainly came as no surprise when it was announced that Season 2 had already been confirmed by Prime Video. After several months of waiting, and just over a month before its premiere, we finally have a new look at this series and more details about the dangers and war coming that way.
The trailer makes it clear: the Wasteland is still a very, very strange place, where there are no good people, a war is coming, and more and new monsters are coming... wait, was that a Ghoul dressed up as Elvis?
A series built on the success of its first season
Season 1 of Fallout premiered just over a year and a half ago, and boy did it surprise us. Jonathan Nolan understood the task at hand very well, with all the details surrounding this role-playing franchise. In our review, we commented that “Fallout is an adaptation that does a great job of distilling over 25 years of gaming history into an 8-episode series. The adventure of Lucy, Maximus, and The Ghoul manages to understand what made video games work and transport it into an adaptation that may not have the most original story, but it transports the essence of the game. The work produced by Jonathan Nolan is a strong step forward in the wasteland and we can’t wait to see its sequel.”
