Season 2 of ‘MobLand’ confirms premiere date in a new trailer and puts an end to the Tom Hardy controversy

After several months of uncertainty, the British actor’s future has been settled.

Update:

Fans of ‘MobLand’ are in for a treat, as the series’ second season has announced its premiere date. It will arrive on Paramoun+ on September 18, 2026. To celebrate, there’s nothing better than a new, intense trailer, which you can watch below. Plus, as if that weren’t enough, there’s no longer any doubt: Tom Hardy will return as Harry Da Souza in the upcoming Season 3.

Just a few days ago, it was reported that Tom Hardy had reconciled with the show’s producers. Nothing has changed: days have passed and there’s nothing to worry about, as the British actor will continue to play Harry Da Souza. He’ll do so in both the second and third seasons. Following an exchange of accusations between the actor and the show’s production team, rumors persisted that Hardy had been fired, but after sitting down to smooth things over and ensure the best interests of both parties—and of ‘MobLand’ fans—the controversy is now a thing of the past.

Here’s what the synopsis for the second season of “MobLand” says: “The Harrigans, heads of North London’s largest criminal empire, are on the brink of civil war, and their rivals are starting to notice. As tensions within the Harrigan family intensify, their ‘fixer’ Harry Da Souza is the only one that can keep them from falling apart.”

Remember that you can watch the first season on Paramount+.
