Sebastian Stan will be in ‘The Batman 2’ and everything indicates that he will be one of Gotham’s most dangerous supervillains

Hollywood gossip has been buzzing lately that he will appear in ‘The Batman Part II,’ which will hit theaters in 2027. Although Stan’s role has not yet been officially confirmed, his stylist seems to have revealed his role in the new film: Harvey Dent himself, also known as Two-Face, one of the most dangerous supervillains in all of Gotham.

On January 6, Deadline revealed that Sebastian Stan, one of the most recognizable faces in Marvel cinema for over a decade, would also be making the leap to DC without completely leaving the MCU. Although his role in ‘The Batman Part II’ (2027) was not confirmed at the time, the actor’s stylist, Michael Fisher, seems to have revealed his character through two Instagram stories posted a couple of days later. According to these two snapshots, Sebastian Stan will portray Harvey Dent, also known as Two-Face, in Robert Pattinson’s upcoming Batman movie. The images have since been removed from Fisher’s profile, but they were captured by fans and reposted to other social media networks, such as X.

It should be noted that some caution is warranted: this is not an official confirmation, far from it. However, as the saying goes, “where there’s smoke, there’s fire.” Fisher’s decision to release these images would indicate that Stan will play this legendary antagonist and enemy of the Caped Crusader. The images themselves are not of Stan dressed as Harvey Dent, but rather appear to be elaborate montages that seem to be conceptual designs of both traditional and prosthetic makeup that the actor would use when filming begins.
Harvey Dent occupies a central place in the Batman universe. He is not only one of Gotham’s most tragic and complex villains, but also one of the most symbolic: a former exemplary prosecutor and ally of the Dark Knight whose fall from grace represents, like no other, the fragility of justice in a city corrupt to the core. His transformation into Two-Face embodies the eternal conflict between order and chaos, making him a key figure in exploring the darker side of the Batman myth, especially in the noir and realistic universe created by Matt Reeves.

The Batman: Part II will be released on October 1, 2027. Matt Reeves, who was also behind the camera for the original The Batman in 2022, will return as director.
