Shonen Jump’s future in doubt

The most popular manga magazine in Japan and the world is going through uncertain times due to the end of several of its great bastions. Jujutsu Kaisen and My Hero Academia have ended or are very close to ending, while One Piece is irrevocably approaching an end that, though still years away, is already looming on the horizon.

What will happen to the magazine? This kind of doubt has always existed, and the reality is that sooner or later they arrive at references that captivate millions of followers. The digitalization of the magazine and a vision that gives more and more importance to the West, together with new phenomena that stand out as “Kagurabachi” and others that will eventually arrive, make that, one way or another, Shonen Jump will continue among us for decades and decades, filling all its readers with illusion and passion.
