Fans of the horror and science fiction saga created by Ridley Scott are delighted with it, as they have made clear by leaving very positive reviews on sites such as IMDb and filmAffinity. Like them, another person who is really enjoying the series is Sigourney Weaver, the actress who played Ellen Ripley in the first four films released between 1979 and 1997.

In a recent interview with Fear HQ, the American actress praised Noah Hawley’s series, saying that she is “really enjoying it” and that it has “so much more profound than just an ‘Alien’ movie.” Weaver highlights the fact that the series is about “our world,” as the story is set on planet Earth, and that it presents a vision of what is “dominating the world in 100 years.”

The actress also explained that ‘Alien: Earth’ touches on some themes—without specifying which ones—that were already present in the franchise, something that surprises her and makes it hard for her to believe she is watching a television series. She also praised the cast, which she finds as “magnificent” as the production of the series.
